Cock-Crow (The Break of Dawn)




















These two images were inspired by an African Novel, Anthills of the Savannah. The illustrations represent the word 'cockcrow,' which is a word describing the break of dawn. To the above left is an illustration of a cockerel and on the right is a crows body and a cockerels head.
